As an International New Hire in the US with Amdocs, we have a number of forms for you to complete that can be found on the "Employment Checklist" webpage. If you are an Expat (not an International Local hire) there are additional forms to complete at the bottom of the Employment Checklist page. These forms can be completed ahead of time and brought with you upon your arrival to the US.
Prior to your relocation, you may have various questions regarding life and employment in the US. We have attached a few documents below to assist you in your transition to the US that were provided by our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This EAP is available to employees and members of their household at no cost to the employee. The EAP can assist employees moving to the US with any number of questions. You will find information to assist you in finding an apartment, locating and understanding US banks, finding schools for your children, locating specific types of places for worship and other usefull items that you may need upon arrival to the US.
This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for employees to access as often as they like. It is free and confidential service to the employees and their family members.
Other types of items that the EAP can assist with when you contact them are:
- Health and well-being (Life events such as Birth/Adoption of Child, Marriage or Divorce, Death of a Family Member)
- Everyday issues (Consumer issues, Home remodeling and maintenance, appliance repair)
- Balancing work and family (Relationship issues, Before-and-After work care, Helping with homework)
- Personal issues and transitions (Relocation assistance within the US including community resources, school locators)
- Parenting, adoption, and education (Child Development Articles including Bedtime for Children or List of Adoption Centers)
- Caring for older relatives (Articles related to the Sandwich Generation or Being a Caregiver)
- Budget and legal issues (Tax Professionals, Financial considerations for retirement, Legal aassistance)
