Cable LabsCable Television Laboratories, Inc.
Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs®) is a non-profit research and development consortium, founded by cable operating companies, that is dedicated to pursuing new cable telecommunications technologies and to helping its cable operator members integrate those technical advancements into their business objectives. Amdocs is an NDA vendor of (and contributor to) several Cablelabs projects and initiatives including: DOCSIS, OpenCable, Go2Broadband, PacketCable, and Advanced Advertising.


WiMAX ForumWiMAX Forum
The WiMAX Forum® is an industry-led, not-for-profit organization formed to certify and promote the compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products based upon the harmonized IEEE 802.16/ETSI HiperMAN standard. A WiMAX Forum goal is to accelerate the introduction of these systems into the marketplace.


OasisOASIS
OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) is a not-for-profit consortium that drives the development, convergence and adoption of open standards for the global information society. The consortium produces Web services standards along with standards for security, e-business, and standardization efforts in the public sector and for application-specific markets

3GPP3rd Generation Partnership Project
3GPP is an ITU initiative based at ETSI headquarters. It fosters collaboration between telecommunications standards bodies, including ARIB, CWTS, ETSI, T1, TTA, and TTC. The scope of 3GPP is to produce globally applicable technical specifications for a third generation mobile system based on evolved GSM core networks, GPRS and EDGE and the radio access technologies that they support.

European Association of Directory and Database PublishersEuropean Association of Directory and Database Publishers
Founded in 1966, the European Association of Directory Publishers (EADP) owes its existence to the aspirations of European publishers who anticipated the importance of intra-European contact and co-operation. Meanwhile, it has become the nerve centre for year-round contact and the key representative for the industry. It is the only international association in Europe to speak for the sector as a whole.

Today, the EADP has some 180 members in 36 countries world-wide, including member companies based in the 25 EU member states but also in the candidate countries : publishers, suppliers of products and services for the publishing industry and 6 national associations representing 340 directory publishers.

JCP - Java Community ProcessJava Community Process
JCP is responsible for the development of Java technology. As an open, inclusive organization of active members and non-member public input, it primarily guides the development and approval of Java technical specifications. The work of the Java community under the JCP’s procedures helps to ensure Java technology’s standard of stability and cross-platform compatibility. JCP is the way the Java platform evolves.

TM ForumTeleManagement Forum
The TM Forum is a non-profit global organization that provides leadership, strategic guidance and practical solutions to improve the management and operation of information and communications services. Over 340 member companies include incumbent and new-entrant service providers, computing and network equipment suppliers, software solution suppliers and customers of communications services.

Yellow Pages AssociationThe Yellow Pages Association (YPA) is the association of publishers, marketers and suppliers responsible for producing Yellow Pages directories in more than 20 countries. Originally founded in 1975 as the National Yellow Pages Service Association (NYPSA), the Yellow Pages Association is instrumental in leading, serving, growing and advocating on behalf of a print and electronic media industry valued at more than $26 billion worldwide ($14 billion U.S.).

Association members include Yellow Pages publishers, who produce leading-edge electronic products and deliver Yellow Pages directories to 100 percent of U.S. homes with telephones -- and who account for more than 90 percent of the Yellow Pages revenue generated in the U.S. and Canada.

Members also include the industry’s international, national and local sales force, certified marketing representatives (CMRs) and associate members, including Yellow Pages advertisers, vendors and suppliers.

Neg Norton is president of the Association. George Burnett, president and CEO of Dex Media Inc., is the chairman of the YPA Board of Directors. In addition to Dex Media Inc., YPA board member companies include BellSouth, SBC SMART Yellow Pages, Verizon Information Services, Yellow Pages Group, DataNational/Volt Directory Systems, R.H. Donnelley Corp., R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, Wahlstrom Group, the Association of Directory Marketing and Marquette Group.
