Italy’s Fastweb Expands its Relationship with Cramer, Amdocs OSS Division
Leading service provider offering triple play voice, data and video services deploys new products in Amdocs Cramer OSS Suite
MILAN and ST. LOUIS, MO- May 8, 2007 - Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the customer experience systems innovation company and Fastweb (Milan, MTAX: FWB), Italy’s second-largest fixed telecommunications services provider, today announced that Fastweb has expanded its commitment with Cramer, Amdocs OSS Division. Fastweb is using Amdocs’ Cramer operations support systems (OSS) solutions to manage the integrity of network data throughout the network lifecycle. Italian systems integrator ONE-ANS implemented the solution.

“With the expanded capabilities of this new solution, Fastweb can optimize its network planning and deployment processes, enabling us to maximize our return on network investments,” said Tommaso Speroni, director of OSS Systems for Fastweb. “Amdocs’ Cramer solutions deliver increased network accuracy and alignment in Fastweb’s OSS. This accuracy will enable us to realize reductions in capital and operating expenditures – savings we can invest elsewhere in the business to enhance the customer experience.”

Fastweb has deployed additional products within Amdocs’ Cramer OSS Suite, including Discovery Engine and Sync Engine, to manage data within its network. Amdocs’ Cramer Discovery Engine enables Fastweb to recognize all elements in its network and to ensure the information and configuration of elements is accurately collected and encapsulated within its OSS. Amdocs’ Cramer Sync Engine dynamically tracks resource utilization and realigns the OSS with the as-built network. Together, Discovery Engine and Sync Engine provide Fastweb with a tightly integrated system that ensures data integrity from the time a network element is introduced until it is decommissioned.

“As service providers like Fastweb continue to deliver innovative new services, network data quality and data reconciliation are critical for accurate fulfillment,” said Guy Dubois, president of Cramer, Amdocs OSS Division. “By addressing the issues around data integrity, Fastweb can improve its fulfillment process and reduce the time to market, ultimately resulting in reduced capital and operational expenditures.”

“Fastweb is an important player in the Italian market and we are looking forward to continuing our long-standing collaboration with them,” said Angelo Zucchetti, OSS director of ONE-ANS. “Amdocs’ best-in-class fulfillment solution and ONE-ANS’ solid experience in OSS deployments for a number of service providers in Italy have delivered an OSS solution for optimal network and resource management.”

ONE-ANS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Italtel. Specializing in information technology and telecommunications, ONE-ANS is one of the leading Italian firms operating in the Solution Integrations sector in environments with heterogeneous infrastructures, supporting companies and service providers in all major areas of Information Technology over Internet Protocol communications infrastructures, covering the entire solution lifecycle.
