Tiscali Italia Selects Amdocs to Support Launch of Low-Cost MVNO Service

Amdocs Compact Convergence Suite will enable rapid service delivery in competitive, pre-paid mobile market

LOUIS - May 6, 2008 - Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that Tiscali Italia S.p.A., a leading alternative telecommunications provider in Europe, has selected the Amdocs Compact Convergence suite for service delivery and convergent real-time charging for its Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) service to be launched this year.
Tiscali will deploy Amdocs Compact Convergence suite, a network-connected full service enablement solution designed for high growth competitive markets. The solution allows providers like Tiscali Italia to quickly and cost-effectively launch services including low cost voice, data, roaming and short message service (SMS). Using Amdocs’ solution, Tiscali Italia will also be able to charge customers for services via any payment method and in real-time.
