Day 3: Autonomous Quality and AI-Driven Developer Velocity

Layout canvas

On the final day of Amdocs Studios, we look ahead to the future of zero-touch testing and AI-powered development. Discover how unsupervised GenAI enables self-evolving quality engineering, reducing manual effort and ensuring resilient systems. Then, explore how AI-driven Cloud Development Environments accelerate developer velocity by automating the journey from issue tracking to deployed code. These sessions are designed for technology leaders who want to embrace full autonomy and unlock next-level productivity.

From Issue Label to Deployed Code: Accelerating Developer Velocity with AI-Powered Cloud Development Environments
  • Date: Friday, November 14th
  • Time: 13:00
  • Speaker: Lewis Tang, Amdocs Cloud
  • Synopsis: The journey from defining a development task to completing it is often hindered by manual context-switching and setup overhead. This talk presents a Cloud Development Environments (CDE) solution that achieves true Autonomous Task Development by integrating directly with standard development workflows. We will demonstrate a crucial mechanism where the Issue Tracker (e.g., Github Issues) serves as the starting trigger. When an issue is labeled (e.g., 'cde-ai'), automation within the repository extracts the issue scope and passes it through as a prompt to a suitable automation template within the CDE solution via an API call. This triggers the launch of a workspace that is pre-configured with all tooling and access required to perform the task autonomously, leveraging AI Tooling Configuration for task execution.
