With about 61 million Indonesians currently lacking access to the internet, an Indonesian University is collaborating with mobile network operators to establish reliable connectivity throughout the country.

Disaggregation of traditional network elements following Open RAN initiatives enables a variety of necessary virtual functions. But deploying a growing vendor ecosystem brings complexity and potential risk.

At the university’s TIP Community Lab – the first of its kind – we played a key role in:

  • End-to-end network design (IP, RAN, CORE)
  • Preparing bill of material
  • Material procurement
  • Test plan creation
  • End-to-end network integration and installation support
  • Test execution, validation and reporting
