MWC 2026, Day 3 - What Happens Next?

For many attendees, it’s the final full day. The pace is still fast, but there’s a sense of reflection in the air. One last sweep of the halls. One last round of meetings. One last look at the technologies everyone will be talking about long after the booths are dismantled.

And the question I kept hearing today was simple: What happens next?

At the Amdocs booth, the answer remains unmistakable. aOS.

The booth that wouldn’t slow down

If anything, day three amplified the buzz.

The stream of passersby stopping to photograph and film our booth hasn’t let up. At this point, after three days of cameras pointed in our direction, I’m starting to feel somewhat like a celebrity.

But the attention isn’t about aesthetics alone. It’s about what the booth represents. The message is clear, consistent, and resonating: the agentic era for telco has begun.

Meeting rooms remained busy. Conversations remained deep. The appetite to understand how aOS translates into real operational change hasn’t faded.

aOS demos: still drawing a crowd

The main aOS demo continued to welcome a steady flow of executives, technologists, analysts, and partners.

Across care, network, and Amdocs Studios use cases, attendees explored how an agentic operating system moves beyond automation into intelligent orchestration. The NVIDIA corner also remained a focal point, with many stopping by to understand how AI-ready infrastructure powers Cognitive Core workflows at scale.

By day three, the conversations are less about “why AI?” and more about “how do we operationalize this?”

That shift speaks volumes.

Partner zone spotlight: Google Cloud

Day three in our Partner Zone focused on Google Cloud, highlighting the strength of our expanding ecosystem.

Demos showcased AI agents in action alongside Google’s Customer Engagement Suite (CES) call center capabilities, bringing to life how intelligent agents can deliver personalized, scalable customer experiences. Autonomous network use cases also took center stage, demonstrating how AI-driven agents and cloud-native infrastructure combine to enable smarter, more adaptive operations.

The common theme across all partner zones this week? AI is no longer an experiment. It’s being embedded into core systems.

The Great Indoors: stories that last

The Great Indoors podcast studio once again welcomed a range of industry leaders throughout the day.

Between recordings, the booth continued to feel like a global meeting point for telecom: conversations unfolding in every corner, spontaneous reunions, and thoughtful reflections on where the industry is headed next.

From vision to reality: becoming AI-first

Day three was also a big day on stage for Amdocs executives.

First up, Raman Abrol was joined by Hugh Crean, Chief Architect of Three Ireland, for a session titled: “From Vision to Reality – The Journey to Becoming an AI-First Telco Organization.”

In a candid and engaging discussion, they shared insights from their collaborative journey toward building an AI-first organization.

From intelligent customer interactions to autonomous service operations, attendees saw how Amdocs and Three Ireland are co-creating a future where AI sits at the core of every decision and experience.

Building the intelligent telco together

Next, Gil Rosen, Chief Marketing Officer of Amdocs, took the stage with Andy Markus, SVP of Artificial Intelligence at AT&T.

Their discussion explored how a decades-long collaboration is evolving into an AI-first alliance shaping the future of the industry.

They spoke about how information is becoming as strategic as spectrum and infrastructure, and how trusted collaboration is turning AI ambition into operational reality. Domain-specific models, governed ecosystems, and agent-driven automation are transforming network performance, customer experience, and business outcomes at a global scale.

It was, in many ways, the inside story of how two industry leaders are building the intelligent telco together.

Personality engineering: the human side of AI agents

Gil returned to the stage for a thought-provoking panel discussion titled: “Personality Engineering: How Does Your Agent Represent Your Company?”

As AI agents move beyond pilots and into scale, one central question emerged: what personality should they have?

Personality isn’t neutral. It directly shapes trust, satisfaction, and brand perception.

The panel explored how companies can design AI agents that embody brand values while ensuring safety, transparency, and control – and how to scale personalized, ethical AI experiences across industries.

It was a reminder that even in a world of advanced automation, the human dimension remains essential.

"Three days. Countless conversations. Hundreds of meetings. One unmistakable theme."

Until next year

Three days. Countless conversations. Hundreds of meetings. One unmistakable theme.

aOS has moved from announcement to industry discussion – and now to real-world planning.

Three days in Barcelona have a way of flying by.

From early-morning briefings to late-evening conversations, from bold ideas on stage to practical demos on the booth floor, MWC 2026 has once again reminded us why this industry moves so fast – and why the next chapter is always closer than we think.

To everyone who stopped by, shared a perspective, challenged an idea, recorded a podcast, held a media briefing, joined a panel, or simply paused for a conversation – thank you for making these three days count.

Until next year, Barcelona.
