The role of MVNOs and rural providers with empowering connections
In the final episode from MWC Las Vegas, guest host Mike MacDade dives into interviews with guests from two very different companies, to uncover their differences and similarities. First he speaks with Brandon Simas, the founder of Continuously, a stealth communications company that is only a year old. He then speaks with Amber Kerr of Union Wireless, which was incorporated in 1914.
“Wireless is a very personal industry. Communications is very personal. We use these devices with our most intimate relationships. We have this phone with us. We don't wear a set piece of clothing every day. We don't wear the same shoes, but we're carrying the same phone with us every single day. We're walking around to MWC with it. We bringing it to the bathroom. We're bringing into our bed. We're bringing it everywhere in between. So why doesn't the service match that type of personalization? And that's kind of the approach that we're taking with our volume offering and with all of our offerings.”
Continuously distinguishes itself by providing service tailored for both high-net-worth individuals and sizable corporations, ensuring the safeguarding of their communications and data. Brandon offers glimpses into Continuously's case studies, showcasing the company's growth and adaptive strategies, and how it is shaped by consumer input.
“The company [Union Wireless] started out providing service where there wasn't any service. And we still do that. We are here to serve our customers, to give them good service – to give them the best service we can. And, you know, it doesn’t matter if you're rural or in urban settings, your customers deserve the same quality of service.”
Subsequently, both Brandon and Amber delve into their respective vantage points regarding the industry's trajectory, the influence of AI, and their perspectives on the forthcoming trends. Also included are our new TGI Open Mic segments where attendees at MWC gave us their viewpoints on everything they were hearing, thinking and seeing at the conference.
