Quick Guide to the Toolkit
Step #1: Create the inspiration image using copilot
Ask copilot to create the image for you, sample prompt: "create a realistic photo of a 7 yo girl with brown eyes as a pilot inside the cockpit of an airplane, wearing a professional flight uniform, facing the camera"
Tips:
- Provide a detailed description of the person/kid to create an image they can identify with
- Include "facing the camera"
- Describe the person’s characteristics/clothing you’d like to have in the picture
Step #2 (optional): Swap the face in the image to your image
Use a face swapping tool like Faceswapper.ai to upload the inspiration image and person’s photo and create a new version that looks more similar to the person
Hi everyone, I'm Shira Weinberg Harrell. I'm an AI expert and in this toolkit I'm going to show you how you can use GenAI for inspiration and for imagining your future self. Last year we've built the Yes, We Gen toolkit, allowing parents to teach AI in their kids' school. And this year we're adding a new part to this toolkit. This presentation will be available to download in several languages You can use it as you wish at home, school or anywhere else. Research shows that visualizing the future makes it more attainable and GenAI gives us the tools to turn our vision into reality. In this toolkit, you or your kid can imagine themselves in inspiring future positions and situations by creating an image to inspire us. The first step would be to think about the options. What would you like to be when you grow up? An astronaut? A pilot? Maybe a chef? If you don't have any good ideas, you can use Microsoft Copilot for inspiration. The second step would be to create the inspiration image. We'll do that using Microsoft Copilot. The next slides will include instructions and a few tips for a good result. So let's say your girl dreams of becoming a pilot. You can use this prompt: Create a realistic photo of a six year old girl with large brown eyes and a medium length black hair as a pilot inside the cockpit of an airplane wearing a professional flight uniform facing the camera. First tip: describe the person, age, gender and any additional details like hairstyle, hair color or eyes. Second tip is to mention facing the camera. That might help us later. Third tip is to provide a detailed description of the character you'd like to have in the picture. If you need more ideas for your prompt, can always take an image you like and use Copilot to describe it. Let's see how that looks like. I'm using Microsoft Copilot to create the image. So I use the prompt that I created and Copilot will create the image for me. If I like it, I can download it and I can always try again. I got this great image. I really like it, so I'm going to download it and use it for the next step. Now, if you'd like to make it look more similar, you can upload the user's images to a face swap tool and adjust the image accordingly. For example, I used facewapper dot ai. Note that every face swapping tool has its own terms of use. Using this tool, I need to upload two images. The face I'd like to use could be my face and the target image, which is the pilot image that I created earlier with Copilot. Now the tool is going to create the updated image with the face that I used in the image. Once the image is ready, I can download it to my computer. Now it's your turn to create the inspiration images and start imagining your future. You can be what you see. Thank you.
