Amdocs wins Banking Tech Awards USA 2026

Amdocs has been recognized with the Best AI Solution – Intelligent Workflow Automation award at the Banking Tech Awards USA 2026. 

This award highlights Amdocs’ ability to turn agentic AI into real business impact, delivering measurable outcomes in highly regulated environments and demonstrating the growing impact of our AI expertise across industries.

The award-winning solution was led by the Industry Verticals unit and delivered for a leading investment bank in the USA. Facing growing data volumes, performance bottlenecks, and high on-premise costs, the bank also struggled with limited agility and support for advanced analytics.

Amdocs addressed these challenges with a code-first, agentic solution powered by its Agentic Accelerator. The solution automated complex workflows such as code analysis, refactoring, testing, and data migration, while embedding governance, auditability, and explain ability from the start.

As part of the transformation, critical analytics workloads were migrated to Databricks on Azure, and legacy T-SQL was modernized into Databricks SQL and PySpark. Using the Amdocs Deployment Framework, the team accelerated migration while ensuring strong data governance and readiness for AI and GenAI.

The impact was clear: approximately $7 million in cost savings, a shift from CapEx to OpEx, and approximately 70% improvement in developer productivity, reducing pipeline delivery time from 14 weeks to just 3 weeks.
