On this episode of the Great Indoors, Matt sits down with Daniel Hernandez Ortega, Group SVP of Devices and Consumer IoT at Telefónica Group. They discuss Daniel’s role at Telefónica, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world with almost 350 million customers in 13 countries. Daniel explains why the transition to remote work has been so seamless for Spain, and how the country’s infrastructure was able to cope with the changes so effectively.
Matt also asks Daniel which emerging technologies he and the Telefónica team are exploring, and from an IoT perspective, what they’re hoping to bring forward into the new industrial revolution.
