Nir's career trajectory exemplifies his growth mindset and adaptability. He embarked on his professional journey in a customer service role, where he honed his skills in understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional service. Recognizing the importance of sales and business acumen, he transitioned into sales and business roles, seizing the opportunity to explore new avenues and challenge himself further. His progression from customer service to sales and business roles is a testament to his resilience, adaptability, and commitment to personal and professional growth.
As the Division President of Amdocs Mobile Network Solutions, Nir is highly focused on creating and implementing innovative services and solutions that empower customers to effectively plan, design, and roll out 5G supporting the customers' journey to the cloud (Telco Cloud) and enabling them to monetize their networks while reducing operational costs through automation and AI-driven solutions. His unwavering enthusiasm and expertise are instrumental in driving innovation and delivering sustainable value to our clients.
"As a team, we leverage Amdocs' capabilities in the network domain to provide comprehensive network services, software platforms, and flexible deployment models with end-to-end accountability for multiple technologies as the NW evolves (vRAN, Cloud, Private networks, Automation). We are expanding our partner ecosystem and driving innovation through our 5G Experience Lab and involvement in industry-level initiatives," says Nir.
Talking more about this, Nir says “In all roles, whether it's execution, delivery, or sales, cultivating a growth mindset is of paramount. It involves embracing a mindset of continuous learning and improvement, where challenges are viewed as opportunities for growth by seeking out new strategies, refining skills, and adapting to evolving market conditions.”
Talking further about this, he adds, “At Amdocs, the network holds great strategic importance as customers are making substantial investment plans. Therefore, it is crucial for us to develop a comprehensive customer strategy for the network. By understanding the unique needs and goals of our customers, we can tailor our network solutions to maximize their success.”

Passionate about customers: Nir's dynamic mindset driving exceptional service
When asked what he is passionate about, Nir says “I am deeply passionate about customers and find immense joy in meeting and collaborating with them. Meeting people and customers face to face, traveling, and effective communication is vital for understanding customer needs and driving business growth. It is important to remain open to solutions from various sources, embracing a diverse range of perspectives. By maintaining this dynamic mindset, I along with my team have been able to provide exceptional service to customers while continuously expanding horizons.”

Nir is also passionate about change and exhibits a proactive attitude toward it. “I treat change as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. Instead of remaining confined to a single comfort zone, I embrace change and actively seek new challenges. I believe in adapting to different areas and transforming them into my own comfort zone, constantly pushing myself to learn and grow. The satisfaction I derive from seeing things work out and bringing projects to a successful conclusion is truly fulfilling.”
When asked how he deals with challenges he says “Finding a balance can sometimes be challenging, especially working in such a dynamic environment. We encounter challenges with people, business operations, profitability, and growth. But at the same time, we need to understand that every problem has a solution. To overcome obstacles, we need to have a forward-looking approach and find ways to improve. I ensure listening and adopting different solutions from my team which not only helps in breaking complex issues into smaller, manageable pieces but also addresses them effectively. Personally, I find relaxation and solace in music and spending time with my kids.
Apart from being an inspirational leader, Nir is also very enthusiastic about his saxophone and jazz music. His love for music translates into his leadership style, creating a unique and harmonious work environment.
“Just like jazz, leadership requires a similar set of skills and attributes. A jazz artist must be adept at improvisation, listening, and collaboration with fellow musicians. Similarly, a leader must be adaptable, able to navigate through uncertain situations and make quick decisions on the spot to create a harmonious work environment that allows the team to flourish” adds Nir.
Nir exemplifies this by embracing flexibility and empowering his team to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.
“In jazz, the artistry lies in the ability to listen and respond to the music being created by other musicians. Likewise, a leader actively listens to their team members, valuing their input and ideas. Furthermore, jazz is all about collaboration. A jazz band thrives on the synergy between its members, each contributing their individual talents to create a cohesive and mesmerizing performance. Similarly, a leader must foster a collaborative environment, bringing together diverse skills and expertise to achieve common goals. Like a jazz band, we come together, celebrate our individual strengths, and create something truly extraordinary.” says Nir.
The global explorer: Nir’s journey across borders and professions
Nir, who embarked on his Amdocs journey 22 years ago in the United States, vividly recalls the very first day of his job, which sets the tone for his unwavering passion for customer service. He shares, "On my very first day, I flew to meet an important customer. It was a pivotal moment that exemplified my commitment to delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships from the start."
Driven by his thirst for new experiences, Nir embraced a new chapter by relocating to India, leading the competency center in Pune. He fondly recalls his time there, saying, "My experience in India was truly rewarding, providing me with valuable insights into the local culture and allowing me to form meaningful connections while thoroughly enjoying my work." Nir proudly mentions that his youngest son was born in Pune, India, adding another cherished memory to his remarkable journey.
Returning once more to Israel, Nir assumed leadership of the OSS services, further solidifying his industry expertise. Over the course of 2.5 years, he managed Vodafone and gradually expanded his responsibilities. Taking charge of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, followed by North America (NA), and eventually the entire Customer Service Unit (CSU), Nir's leadership encompassed diverse teams and ensured high-quality service delivery.
