UnionDigital Bank celebrated a momentous year in 2022.
Based in the Philippines, the bank’s goal was bringing financial inclusivity for individuals, communities, and businesses. It believes this can be achieved by making financial solutions more accessible and safer to communities historically underserved by the banking sector.
Amdocs (Sourced Group) worked in close partnership with UnionDigital Bank (UD) to establish its digital banking services platform hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) was secure, compliant and satisfied the regulatory requirements of the central bank, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Upon appointing Amdocs (Sourced Group), we were given a tight deadline of just two-months to satisfy the BSP requirements and apply for UD’s banking license. We successfully helped them gain their Certificates of Authority (COA) for full operations and accelerated into growth mode.
This engagement was instrumental in UD’s successful application for a banking licence, ensuring that it was able to launch on time and making strides towards its vision of financial inclusivity in the Philippines.
