In this episode, host Matt Roberts of Amdocs sits down with his next two guests at the Las Vegas Convention Center MWC 2022. First, he speaks with Jillian Kaplan, a speaker, author, and the Head of Global Telecom Thought Leadership at Dell Technologies. They discuss some of the thought leadership topics Jillian is currently focused on including the future of autonomous vehicles, retail, manufacturing, finance, operations, energy, and much more. Next, Matt sits down with Anand Nandakumar, the founder and CEO of Halo.car, a driverless, electric car that’s offering “rental without the hassle.” Anand shares more about the vision behind Halo, and how it could change the future of autonomous vehicles and the ridesharing industry as a whole.
“56% of American households have two cars in their house. One is your family car which we drive perpetually. The second one is your commute car or errand vehicle. The utilization is so low in those cars, right? And what we're offering is let's start with the second car first and say, hey, you don't need to pay 100% of the cost of the second car for using it 4% of the time. Instead, we will bring you a car dynamically when you want one. “
