Nektarios Charalampous, Technical & Business Operations Line Manager, was a new employee at Amdocs when he heard from senior managers in his unit that Machine Learning is an important topic to learn.
His curiosity led him to take some courses on it. He was enthusiastic about the topic and decided he wanted to share his knowledge with his colleagues, so he created a course and adjusted it to the Amdocs environment, and made it condensed and easy to digest.
The course was so successful that he was invited to deliver it to various audiences, including an invite to India to deliver the course there. His actions positioned him as an expert on the topic and as a highly valued professional.
Another great benefit from this experience was that he discovered that teaching others is a highly effective way to learn any topic. Listen to the full episode for more.
